Subject: Third Friday Thank You
Just wanted to thank everyone who participated in our Wine and Cheesecake Night last Friday at Paperbacks Plus!
The wines that Horizon Cellars brought for the tasting were so wonderful you just wanted to take them all home with you. The basket they donated for the drawing was worth coming out for on it’s own. Wine and smoked salmon….YUM!
It was so nice to see all my regular customers as well as new faces. The new faces coming thru for the first time and the amazement that little ol’ Siler City has that much to offer in the way of music, art and food makes me so happy. Well, that and the wine!
My only complaint for the whole evening was that I had too many cheesecakes and chocolate cake left over. Of course I did make enough for the entire world I think. So basically I was reduced to force feeding everyone that came in on Saturday and finally having to eat the remaining two pieces….so much for the diet that week.
Thanks again to Horizon Cellars bringing their lovely wines, to everyone who came into the store to enjoy wine, cheesecake and chocolate and to everyone who carried some home with them.
