Subject: Judy Hogan on her life as aging poet-farmer, Apr 22

The Friends of the Pittsboro Memorial Library invite you to come share an enjoyable evening with NC poet and free-lance writer Judy Hogan discussing  “My Life and Economics as an Aging Poet-Farmer.†  The event will be held on Thursday evening, April 22, at 7:30pm at the Senior Center, 365 Hwy. 87 North in Pittsboro.

Judy Hogan’s passion to write led to valuing her time more than money.  In 1998 she began farming to grow her own food and stay healthy and, of necessity, began inventing some very creative “solutions†to life’s challenges. Judy helped found the NC Writers Network, has published five books of poetry and two non-fiction works, writes regularly for the Chatham County Line, and teaches creative writing at Central Carolina Community College. Free to the public.
