Subject: Clarification: Phone advice and computer diagnostics are FREE, not PAID.

Since these points have been misunderstood by some folks recently who found us on the Chatlist, some clarification is in order.

If you call Tritech to ask a couple of questions, that’s generally free.  As long as the conversation does not drift into an obvious telephone support case, we never, ever charge to answer your questions or provide “guesstimates” over the phone.

We’ve also had a lot of people who assume or somehow are led to believe that in-shop diagnostics cost money.  All pre-work diagnostics are performed at no cost as well.  There is no bill for any of the diagnostic checks we do, so you don’t need to ask “how much?” if all you wanted was a “diagnose and call.”
