Subject: Outside wood-boilers
We got our outside wood-boiler, a HeatMor, from Southern Alamance Trailer in Snow Camp, 1 1/2 years ago.
Their number is: 336-376-6316. We have used them for 19 years for servicing our horse trailers, and trust them completely.
We love the steady heat it puts out. We have an older brick home with copper tube radiators in the baseboard. It came with an older oil furnace in the basement. We had switched to a HeatPump in 1995 for the AC. but kept the radiators & old furnace.
The wood boiler connects in the basement to the piping to the water heater & into the house. It provides constant moist heat, not dry air like a heat pump. It saves a LOT of money too.
