Subject: Unabashed and unexplained growth of our county government
Following on Mr Glendinning’s post, I have to agree with the latter portion regarding government expansion. Those wild and crazy boys and girls of the Bay State, those descendants of the original tea-party-animals, sent a clear message this week. It resounds across the land, even here in good ol’ Chatham.
The unabashed and unexplained growth of our county government is far outpacing the effective needs of our residents and the ability of the taxpayers to support it. We continue to hear about ‘sustainability’ relating to farming, communities, residential growth, and such. It is time to apply that concept to county government also.
Question- Is it time to do what the Bay-Staters did? Think about it…
