Thank you – Thank you – Thank you!!!

God has more than answered our Prayers!!!!  This afternoon we confirmed a moped donation for John from a church.  They will bring the moped and give it to John with us. The community is invited to attend.

The moped will be presented to John for THANKSGIVING on Wednesday, November 25th at NOON at the Piggly Wiggly in Pittsboro.

John doesn’t know yet – please keep it a surprise!!!

Donations to date received are: $295.00 = $195.00 at First Citizens and $100.00 through The Kid’s Warehouse, Inc. non-profit. Donations cut off is:  Tuesday, November 24th at 2:00p.m.

We have been told that both of John’s mopeds were stolen outside his home and one was not inside as previously thought/told to you.  Please accept our apology for that misinformation.

We still need information on a good moped lock to buy for John = any suggestions??????

Please, we need some volunteers that will make him a huge card for the people of Chatham to sign………Will you volunteer????   We also need someone with a digital camera to take pictures and email them to the newspaper that will be doing a story on John.  Can you do this????    If so contact us by telephone @ 542-6159.

Also, does anyone have a problem using the left over donations for John’s moped to use for gas cards, and Christmas for him and his son?  First Citizen’s will be cutting the checks and a full accounting will be available for anyone who desires
to see how every penny will be spent.

John has voiced that he desires to move back to Moncure, however, he would need to sell his trailer in Siler City to get it out of the park there.  We have some volunteers that can move his personal belongings – so does anyone want to buy a trailer from him?? If so, go see John at Piggly Wiggly in Pittsboro – just maybe that dream for John can come true also.

Thank you and may God Bless everyone for making this a very special Thanksgiving for John who has given so much over the years to us.

Servants of Jesus,
Mark and Beth Morton
