Subject: FLATWOODS FESTIVAL
Hello to all,
I wanted to offer a few words to remind everyone of the Flatwoods Festival in Bennett this weekend. The event will kick off on Friday evening with
food, live music and an old fashioned country auction.
The admission is free and there will be a special play land for children under 12 years old. (Buy a $5.00 wrist band and your child plays all evening on Friday and again
all day on Saturday) at the Hussey Farm in Bennett.
Saturday morning the day begins with a parade of antique cars, trucks, tractors and horse drawn vehicles in down town Bennett. When the parade ends, everyone will move back to the Hussey Farm, for more antique farm equipment, an antique tractor pull, food and bluegrass music featuring Tommy Edwards and The Lonesome
Heart Band. All proceeds will benefit the Tri-County Ruritan Club.
