You’ve probably heard about the new Creative Writing classes at CCCC in
Continuing Ed here at the Pittsboro campus.  It’s time to get ready to
get writing! The schedule and course info can be found online this year
in
the new Fall catalog at: http://www.cccc.edu/ecd/schedule/ Once the
virtual booklet is open, type in page “44” in the Go To control for the
Continuing Ed Creative Writing course offerings.

Coming in October, for the first time we are offering bread making
three Saturday bread making workshops. French bread, sour dough and in
November, holiday breads. Nova Scheller has been baking seriously for
about 25 years. Currently she is exploring rustic breads using various
starters. She recently completed workshops at the world renown San
Francisco Baking Institute. All breads are produced using traditional
home kitchen equipment. Classes will be held at the Chatham Central High
School culinary kitchen.

We are also excited about Kathleen Ward who will be joining us to teach
our drawing and acrylic/oil painting classes in October. Kathleen is an
artist who has received awards on the local and national levels. She
holds and MFA from UNC-G and a MA in Visual Design from NC State
University’s School of Design. Go to her website at
www.kathleenward.com to view examples of her work.

Check out our website at www.cccc.edu , click on Continuing Education
and click on “printed version” to view our full complement of
classes. We think you will be excited with what we are offering this
fall. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we are unable to mail our Fall
Schedule this year.
