Dear Mr Marley,

I take the phrase “hot air” to mean empty, confused or exaggerated talk having no meaning or substance.

Please tell us, what of my essay on nuclear costs was empty, confused, or exaggerated?

Chatham County’s and America’s economies are in dire condition.  Our health and environment are clearly suffering from our over-reliance upon fossil fuels.  Our national and state trade deficits are worsening because we spend so much on fossil fuels (NC spends $9 billion per year on foreign petroleum, $2 billion per year on coal, 10% of which comes from places like Venezuela and Columbia).

What, sir, do you propose we do to re-build our economies?
