Subject: Is Plenty still in use elsewhere?
As I am reading all this brouhaha on Plenty I am wondering – is still used in Orange County? And with how much success?
I wonder if my experience with local currency is typical. When I first heard of Plenty many years ago, it sounded like fun and I used it for a few months [exclusively at the only place I knew would take it then- Weaver Street].
After the novelty wore off, I stopped using it. It was like those coupons that sit in your wallet until you connect up with the appropriate place to use them, so having regular currency took precedence.
