Subject: What to do with three kids?
So in about three weeks, I’ll be watching my three godchildren for a few days. I’ll have two girls, ages 8 and 11 and one boy, aged 6 and I’m trying to come up with ways to occupy them. We’ve done the zoo before, and they enjoyed it (well, the girls did, this is the first time the boy is staying with us) but it was a lot of walking.
We’ve also taken the girls to the Renaissance Faire over at the fairgrounds in Raleigh and they loved that too. He probably will as well, since there are plenty of sword fights and archery and other guy stuff going on.
But what else is there to do with kids with ages that vary so much? We thought about trying to take them on one of the CPT tours, but the boy has a fear of large cats so that may not be a good option.
Right now, the only plan is the Ren Faire, and we are trying to fill two more days beyond that. I had thought about the Kids Museum in Raleigh, and maybe an Imax movie too, but I’d love to know if any of you have other suggestions for entertaining some visiting kids for a few days in and around Chatham county…
