Subject: NHS Varsity Girls Soccer
The Lady Chargers defeated Graham yesterday 10-0. After scoring only one goal in the previous three matches it was a nice evening on the pitch. Our girls executed well and all 19 players had significant time in the match.
Casey Norris led the way with four goals and one assist, Alex Hallows had two goals, Annie Cleaver had one goal and three assists, Anna Elkins had one goal and one assist, Yancey Luft had a goal, Darien Skinner had a goal and Sara McCaw had two saves in the net and had one assist. Anna Elkins had three saves in the net as a backup keeper. The Chargers had 34 shots on goal. Reserves, Melana Horton, Allie Gray, Rachel Seed and Erin Royal gave us some great minutes as well. JV player, Rebecca Moore had a fine match in her Varsity debut. Next match is this Wednesday vs Cummings at 7:00.
