Carole,

You blast me every time I mention the shortcommings of law enforcement.  Just to let you know, I can handle what officer Hadley dishes out to me.  I was treated a certain way by him and started talking about it, to my friend and to the community.  In my opinion the response has been great.  I have read numerous stories about similar treatment to other people.  Do you know what this means?  This means that others feel the same way.  This means that his behavior is being scutinized by the community, polititions and most importantly his superiors.

Carole, it is true that I was not pulled out of my car and beaten.  Is that the standard we as a community draw the line for unprofessionalism in our law enforcement.  My concern is not for myself here.  It is for the community that may think twice about calling police in a time of need because they had a run in with a cop on a power trip.  My intent in posting my experience has been served. His superiors are aware of his demeanor in public.  I assume he has been coached about his role and his responsibility to be a good citizen as well as a protector and enforcer.

I would also like to you to know that it is not my intent to try to get out of my ticket by complaining.  I admit, I was speeding.  I will have to pay my attorney and the court.  I do this without umbrage.  I know how and when the system works.  I am also smart enough to know when it does not.  If you want to know how to spot these things, email me, I will teach you.  As for Officer Hadley, I don’t see the point in me going on any longer with this with you.  I don’t even know you so I’m not going to waste any more thought on you.  I do encourage others to keep this going if they want to be heard.  The public servants are reading this forum.
