Subject: Plants to Give or Trade
Hi Folks,
Its time to clean up in the garden and I’ve got plants to share, trade or give away. All of these are flowering perennials that do well in this area. What I’ve got:
Rudbeckia triloba – tall, small flowered black eye susan and the regular shorter one too
Heliopsis helainthoides – perennial sunflower, very tall with lemon yellow late summer flowers
Daisies – May blooming variety
Physotegia – lilac and watch out it does spread
Yarrow – raspberry color
Boltonia – the white one
Chrysanthemum – peach colored blooms in late summer early fall, looks like peach colored daisies
Chrysnthemum – Empress of China, really pretty white with pinkish center
Batchelor Buttons – early spring blue blooms 4 ft tall
Echinacea
Black raspberries
Penstemon – Huskers Red
Chives
Catmint – Nepeta
Baby’s Breath – the tall one 3-4ft
Call me if you’d like to come and dig some up for your garden. I ask that you repair the holes you leave with compost that I have. If you’d like to trade or share something for the plants, that would be nice too! I have pots if you don’t.
On my wish list of plants is:
Dicentra – bleeding heart in white or pink
Solidago – goldenrod
Sedum – Autumn Fire
Alliums
Crocosmia
Alpine Sea Holly
Cow Parsley
