Subject: Happy to recommend a new tutoring service in our area

Hey, Chatham Chatlisters! I wanted to mention a new tutoring service for all students and subjects from kindergarten through adult that is new to our area, Club – Z! In-Home Tutoring.

My 5^th grader was bringing homework from school that I was having a difficult helping her understand and complete. I was frustrated because I wanted to help my child, but felt unable to do so. Someone suggested that I contact Amy Harmon, Area Director of Club Z! I contacted Amy and within two days we had a qualified tutor who was familiar with 5^th grade curriculum. My daughter began tutoring the last week in October. Her math grade has come up almost two full letter grades!!

What I did not realize is that it can take very little tutoring to help students at any grade level reach their potential and feel more comfortable academically. Our household has tutoring for 3 hours each week. Our tutor comes to our home, so I don’t have to travel to a tutoring site. Our tutor always reviews what they have worked on each session with me, which allows us to work together to ensure that my daughter is understanding her assignments!

Also, Club Z! offers a free consultation and a complimentary tutoring session, and there are no long term contracts to sign. Club Z! provides one-on-one, in-home tutors, who are well qualified and have been screened by Club Z! (this saved me from having to search ads to find someone who had experience in 5th grade curriculum). My daughter was particularly hesitant to go to a tutor because she feared others would see her. Club Z! provides private, one-on-one tutoring in our home, so that she didn’t have to let anyone else know she had a tutor. My daughter has been so excited about her progress that now she tells everyone that she has a tutor! Her comment is “It is fun to work with my tutor and it gives Mom a break”. I had to laugh when I first heard her say it, but I definitely agree! Tutoring has made my daughter more confident and allows me to work with my other children as well. Each child gets individual time and that makes all the difference in the world! Once my daughter began to realize that she can achieve success in math, it has influenced her overall self-esteem and confidence in all areas of the classroom.

I highly recommend to learn more about how tutoring will benefit your child, call Amy Harmon at 919-545-2300 or visit Club Z! In-Home Tutoring on the web at www.clubztutoring.com.
