Subject: Win! Win! Win! a Clyde Critter

Internationally-known, self-taught artist of cedar and found objects, and Chatham County original Clyde Jones, creates “critters” that are treasured additions to special homes — Mikhail Baryshnikov’s, for example. But like security, love, happiness, and other things of truly great value — a Clyde Critter can’t be purchased. Fortunately for you, Chatlist readers, tickets to win one can!

Unlimited $2 raffle tickets are now for sale at the General Store Cafe in Pittsboro. Buy as many as you like and enter to win one of these treasured Chatham County icons of local art. The drawing for the Clyde Critter will be held on 12/9/08 — just in time for holiday gift giving! — at The General Store Cafe during the 100 Mile Film Series screening of  “Gatewood: Facing the White Canvas”. Winners do not need to be present to win (but we hope you’ll consider seeing this fascinating film). All proceeds directly benefit ChathamArts   www.chathamarts.org.
