I am a public school teacher in Chatham County

First I would like to say that I find it REALLY hard to believe Dan Cahoon had any problem with Jim Cameron.  Jim is a wonderful builder that has his heart in the right place.  Dan on the other hand has no heart. To publicly humiliate someone about something that happened years ago is unbelievable to me.

My next comment:
I am a public school teacher in Chatham County and I cannot vote for Mia Munn.  I strongly believe in the public schools and I have high hopes for Chatham county schools.  As a parent and teacher, if I have an issue with my school…academics, AP courses, sports, anything….it is my duty as a community member to try and fix it.  As a parent, WE HAVE POWER.  Organize, plan, get all your friends involved.  Parents in large groups have power to CHANGE.  Northwood, Pittsboro, all the Siler City schools have horrible parent participation.

I cannot trust Mia Munn for fixing our schools when she pulled her kids out to go to Woods.  So what if she knows curriculum!  I want someone who will fight for better schools while keeping their kids in the school.  Active parents can participate, voice opinions, organize parents, volunteer, go to BOE meeting, petition, ect..until they see results they want.  Don’t give up!!  We can make a difference.  How can she be pro Woods and pro BOE?  Woods takes our money and the BOE has no control over Woods.  Stay at Woods Mia Munn!  I want someone that has Chatham public schools in their best interest.
