Subject: Donations available for any student without a computer at home

Hello Fellow Chatham-ites.

With the kids back at school, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that one of my personal goals and Computer Therapy’s business objectives is to make sure that each and every student in our school system has a computer at home.

Over the summer I have accumulated 6 or 7 computers that can be made ready for donation to a deserving student.  If anyone on the chatlist is aware of ANY student that does not have a computer at home, please let me know so I can provide one.

I realize that some of the student families are not comfortable with this as it might be considered charity.  If this is the case, then I suggest having the student’s guidance counselor at their school contact me and we can provide the donation through the guidance counselor’s office.

And for anyone that has an old computer that is not being used and who would like to donate to this program, contact us as well.  We wipe all information from the computers, upgrade them as necessary and reinstall all programs before the computer is donated.  At this time the minimum computer specification we are looking for is a Pentium III 866 MHz processor.  We can assist you in identifying your specifications if needed.  Again just contact us.

And thanks to all of the teachers out there that are instrumental to our children today and to our country’s future.
