David is an outstanding candidate. As a retired educator who has devoted his entire career to Chatham County Schools, David has the experience and commitment for the job. His 28 years working for Chatham County as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal should speak for itself.
He has lived on both sides of the county and served in the Northwood, Chatham Central, and Jordan-Matthews districts. His knowledge of how the school system operates — what it does well and what it does not — gives him insight into the needs of the children and what it will take to achieve success in the world of tomorrow.
David has roots in Chatham County. He is a graduate of Northwood HS as well as his wife and four daughters. His wife and two oldest daughters currently teach in Chatham County Schools.
None of the other candidates come close to having the experience and qualifications that David has. I urge you to take time to visit his web site and review his beliefs, background, and commitment to Chatham County Schools. EC
