1.  One Stroke Art Class Cost $25 per class.  Come by the office to register.
*         Adult classes: Cost $25 per class.  Come by the office to register.
o    September 13th from 10:30-12:30 at the Parks and Recreation office the title of the class is Critters and Leaves.
o   October 11th from 10:30-12:30 at the Agriculture Auditorium.  Title of class is Holiday Topiary
*         Children’s classes: $20 per class.  Come by the office to register.
o   September 13th  1:30-3:00 Daises
o   October 11th 2:00-3:30 Bear Face on Canvas or Wood Plaque

1.  Quick Start Kayak Class
*         Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department is offering a kayak quick start class for adults/single kayaks or adult/child tandem kayaks. It is a 3 hour introductory course.  The class will be offered at the county’s new Northwest park (formerly Camp Maranatha Springs on Woody Store Road in Silk Hope).  The class will take place on September 10th, from 5:30-8:30 at the Northwest Park.  A minimum number of participants will be needed.  We only have 8 single kayaks and 4 tandem kayaks. If they fill up, one may still register providing they have their own boat.  If interested please contact the Rec. Dept. by September 5th, at 545-8555.  Cost of class is $35.

1.  Tumblin’ Tots
*         Tumblin’ Tots, Inc. New session begins September 10th!!!!!Register at Chatham County Recreation Department on September 3rd from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.  Tumbling/Gymnastics classes are offered on Wednesday afternoons at the Chatham County Community College Auditorium.  Class times are as follows:2 yr. olds 3:30 PM, 3 – 4 yr. olds 4:00 PM , 5 – 8 yr. olds 4:30 PM.  Cost consists of a $10.00 registration fee and $27.00 monthly program fee.
