CALL FOR ENTRIES! 100 Mile: Sustainable Cinema Series – SHOW US YOUR SHORTS! deadline coming up August 15th
ChathamArts has launched the “100-Mile Film Series: Sustainable Cinema” at the newly expanded General Store Cafe in downtown Pittsboro. The series features documentaries, narrative films and more involving producers, directors, subjects and/or locations within 100 miles of Pittsboro, NC. Film event proceeds benefit ChathamArts and a future documentary filmmaking program with at-risk youth in Chatham County.
Sustainable Cinema will include two “Show Us Your Shorts” nights (Sept. 23 and Nov. 25), featuring the best short films (any genre) submitted. Entries should not exceed 15 minutes in length and adhere to the 100-mile guidelines.
Send short submissions with a non-refundable $10 ENTRY FEE and completed entry form (available for download at www.chathamarts.org) postmarked by Aug. 15 (for Sept. 23 show) and Oct. 15 (for Nov. 25 show.) Please submit your work on a DVD-NTSC-RO labeled with contact information and running time to: ChathamArts, PO Box 418, Pittsboro NC 27312. lbooker-at-blast.com with any programming ideas or animals in a bar jokes.
