The 3 VS 3 Basketball Tournament was postponed due to the intense heat early in the summer. It was rescheduled for September 6th. Here is the information once again. I would like to say thank you to all who are interested and to Pizza Hut of Pittsboro for our wonderful T-Shirts.

The 1st Annual Chatham Challenge 3 on 3 basketball tournament is a new tournament offered by the Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department as a fundraiser to support the Chatham Parks Foundation. Sponsors of the tournament include The Chatham Parks Foundation, Chatham County Parks and Recreation, and Pizza Hut of Pittsboro. All proceeds from the tournament will go to The Chatham Parks Foundation. The Chatham Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization set up to directly benefit parks in Chatham County. For more information contact the Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department at 545-8555. The cost of the tournament is $60 per team of 4($15 per participant). Each participant will receive a t-shirt with trophies going to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division. Teams are guaranteed no less the 4 games. Rules and sign up sheets can be picked up at the Parks and Recreations office in Pittsboro. (The old Cane Creek movie store next to Hardees)
