Subject: Wake-up Wednesday, June 11th
Are you working on behalf of Chatham County residents either in for-profit, not-for-profit, government, or non-governmental offices or simply an individual who cares about the future of Chatham? Please consider joining us for the next Wake-up Wednesday meeting, June 11th at the Community House on Thompson Street in Pittsboro.
Wake-Up Wednesday is a monthly meeting, open to community-minded people from all over the county and is designed for people to inform others about the exciting things going on here. In a productive, fast-paced, and tightly organized program, we each talk about our interests, our upcoming events, our resources–what we need and what we can share, and what each of us brings to the future of the County.
We’re building relationships and we’re learning to collaborate to strengthen our purpose and make the county a better place. Let’s keep the ball rolling!
Doors open at 8 am. The program begins at 8:30 and ends at 9:30.
Admission is $5 and includes a delicious breakfast from Our Neighborhood School. Laura Chintapalli, a social worker in the Chatham County Department of Social Services who handles foster home licensing
is the scheduled keynote speaker for June.
Anyone who wants to participate in making Chatham County a better place to live, learn, work, grow and thrive is encouraged to attend. Bring your business cards and your literature to share and a door prize to give away if you’d like to promote your organization.
