Subject: I don’t live in Chapel Hill

I would gladly change addresses and be from Bear Creek OR Hickory Grove. I’m 10 miles inside Chatham County and I have to have a Chapel Hill address. When I travel and I have to write Chapel Hill on the hotel registration, I cringe.
I don’t live in Chapel Hill and I don’t want to.
When asked where I live, I always reply Chatham Co.
Can the folks of North Chatham unite and shed our Chapel Hill addresses? How does that work. If I have a registered letter/package I have to drive 20+ miles to North Chapel Hill to pick it up. Huh?
Maybe Briar Chapel will become a town and suck us all under it’s postal zone.
Briar Chapel, NC. Ok, never mind, I’ll stay with Chapel Hill. At least it’s a real place and not something conceptualized in a California architects studio.
