drink more BEER!

In response to the water contamination issue I would recommend all Chatham
County folks drink more BEER!   As an Aussie this is sound advise from
downunder!
OR
Put a water filter system on your home at the entrance point so you can be
sure your water is “cleaned” before it touches your lips!!!

Oh what a wonderful idea, except that I don’t like beer.  And, isn’t beer made with the local water, or Oooopsss — are you referring to drinking NON-LOCAL beer??? Uh-oh!  Don’t want to get something started again about non-local products.  I think using local products is good stewardship, and what is more local than our drinking water.

We need to use the water provided to us by our town (unfortunately), and from what I understand, this water contamination problem has been going on in Pittsboro for YEARS!   What is going on with that?  We pay more for water usage than we do for electricity!  We should be up in arms about this and contacting every government official (federal and state) that we can about it.  Think “Erin Brockovich” folks because that is what it will be coming down to for us here in Pittsboro, because the next chemical process they will be adding to our water could cause another potential problem.
