The Chatham Chamber of Commerce will present the Siler City Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 01 at 7p in downtown Siler City.  This year’s parade theme will be “The Christmas Story.”

To submit a parade entry, please contact the Chatham Chamber of Commerce at 742-3333 or via email at info@ccucc.net.  You can also obtain an Entry Form from the Chamber’s website at www.ccucc.net.  All parade entries must be submitted to the Chamber office by November 28.  If the Chamber office is closed when you arrive to drop off entry form, please place your Entry Form along with the $ 10 fee in an envelope and place it in the mailbox beside the Chamber office door.

Friday, November 25th (Black Friday), we will be having a store wide 10% off sale.  The only exclusion to this will be books on consignment with us from local authors.

Stop by and pick up the latest gently used book before paying full price at a big box store.  We can also order any book and have it here in time for Christmas as well as carrying gift certificates for that hard to buy for person.  Let them have the fun of picking out their own book!

We are gearing up for our 5th Annual Free Christmas Eve Dinner, Saturday, December 24th, serving from 4:30-6:30 or until the food runs out.

Over the past 4 years we have fed a total of almost 800 people on Christmas Eve.  If you would like to volunteer to help cook, decorate, serve, clean-up or deliver give me a call or e-mail me.

One always wants a Poinsettia at Christmas time. I am no exception. They can be found in all price ranges. Seemingly from $3.98 to fifty dollars or more depending on the size and number of blooms. Even more if you just have to have the ones with glitter and added ornamentation.

      Our family in need now has nice cozy house to call home . They have no rent due until January and have moved in   They will need some help with the light bill and groceries but considering they were homeless a week or so ago you all did good .
