I must say “DITTO” to all who applaud McDonalds and the other up coming restaurants and other stores/businesses in and around Pittsboro
The price gas is today and seems that there is no end to it continuing to rise, Pittsboro has got to have something to keep us from paying high gas prices to go and spend our money in other towns/counties. Not mentioning all the jobs that they will bring into our town. It is not only good for low income families who cannot afford the fine restaurants, but good for families who have lots of kids. And even business folks on the run seem to like them. My other best fast food restaurant is Chick Filet. Sure wish they would come here. And guess what, I like it for all their food and especially since they honor their employees and are closed on Sundays.
Yes, I realize “some” of the fast food meals are not from the healthy foods chart, but hey, each of us every day, most probably eat something we aren’t suppose to, per all health guidlines. And I know all about obesity in children and adults, but parents can help teach their kids the importance of choosing wisely their choice of foods. I believe most restaurants whether fast food or not, carry a fresh salad that has all the good vegetables on it.
Yep, for me, I can’t wait to seek my teeth into a good ole Big Mac. But it will probably be only one, as I am on the Weight Watchers program now. But I couldn’t resist to be one of their first customers.
