Girls ages 7 to 14 are invited to join the Northwood Softball staff and current varsity team members to learn age and skill level appropriate softball fundamentals and mechanics at the NORTHWOOD CHARGERS SOFTBALL CLINIC on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
The sport of softball can teach your daughter coordination, self-confidence, sportsmanship, self-discipline and leadership skills. This opportunity will be a valuable tool for the development of your softball player. Participants will learn basic drills and techniques that will enable them to become a better softball player. The clinic will include defensive skills such as throwing mechanics, fielding techniques, outfield skills and position play. Offensive drills will focus on proper mechanics of the swing, bunting, base running and sliding. This experience will be both enjoyable and rewarding. Participants will work with experienced high school and travel ball coaches and current high school softball players.
