Bynum Front Porch is firing up another Friday night, and this time we’ve got The 8:59’s rolling in to fill the summer air with sweet harmonies, jangly guitars, and a groove that’ll make your toes start tappin’ before you even notice.
Formed right here in North Carolina back in 2014, The 8:59’s bring the best of Americana, Alt-Country, and Indie Rock, with songs that carry echoes of Nashville, Athens, and Chapel Hill. Christian Fisher and Neville Handel trade songwriting, harmonies, and guitars, backed by Mike Beck on bass and Brad Goolsby on drums—together they make music that feels both fresh and like an old friend you’re glad to see.
Cost: Free as the breeze, but if you’re feeling generous, toss a little love in the pith helmet.
Parking: Plenty of free parking at the Bynum ball field or in the field next to the venue.
Seating: Bring a comfy chair or borrow one of ours—we’ve got plenty.
Food & Drinks: Grab a bite from the food truck or swing by a local restaurant before the show.
