CARE’s third and final Spring Yappy Hour is Monday June 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm on the Carolina Brewery Patio! CARE will also celebrate it’s 50th Birthday serving homeless dogs and cats of Chatham County so please join us for the “party that’s gone to the dogs”! We would especially love to see our adopters and your CARE pups at Yappy Hour!
Our special Yappy Hour activities include raffles for gift cards and baskets from some of our participating community partners, and birthday party favors!
Yappy Hour is a time for owners, their children and their furry kids to meet, mingle and sniff new people and their canine companions. No retractable leashes please! And if your dog is experiencing any respiratory illness, better to leave him or her at home.
Your $10 donation includes 2 free drink tickets and snacks. Admission for pooches is free and this “FUN-draiser” supports the dogs and cats of CARE and our mission to promote the health and safety of all dogs and cats in Chatham County. Raffle tickets will be 6 for $5 or 12 for $10. Raffle drawing will be around 6:15 pm.
Green Beagle Lodge and Pittsboro Pet Supply will be joining CARE volunteers on site with information and raffle prizes!

CARE is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the community, providing targeted spay/neuter programs, and fostering homeless cats and dogs until they are placed in loving, permanent homes.
