Moncure project planning government overreach
The county commissioners are at it again. I bet you did not realize you were being ‘planned’ by the County.
Do you live east of Jordan Lake and north of Highway 64? You are in the Moncure planning area.
Do you live by the Rocky River and West of Highway 15? You are in the Moncure planning area.
Does that seem like a HUGE area to be involved in the ‘Plan Moncure’ zone?
Several years ago Chatham County started on a Unified Development Ordinance project. After spending many bushels of tax dollars on a consultant, that consultant was fired.
Now, using many more bushels of tax dollars, a new consultant is busy spending your money. Do you believe that what our county does has your best interest in mind? EVERYONE in the county needs to get involved and make your voices known, as this will affect you for better or for worse.
Go to https://www.recodechathamnc.org and start doing your homework on the county’s “major changes proposed to current regulations”.
