36 years ago chatham county roads were in great condition. The sides picked up of trash and the coverys along side of the roads kept clear.
This is no longer true. Why?
Our taxes have increased so why has the service gone down hill.
Especially the roads connecting garbage centers. Like Bonlee-Bennett Road. Full of trash and stopped up covers because the trash is mowed down with the grass which fills up the covers.
Hmm millions of our tax dollars to get private companies to move here. Millions spent to make sure the roadways to the megan sites are just right but what about the people who are paying for this?
Surely it isn’t too much to ask the highway department to pickup trash along the roadside. To repair the roads that have gone down hill.
Why not take those millions and give back to the people already living here and paying for their roads to be maintained and the road side trash to be picked up.
Two, 2, two years since they picked up trash on bonlee bennett rd. They mow it up instead.
Who decided this?
