A very dangerous road condition exists just North of the 64 overpass on 15-501 as you approach Mosaic. A storm drain grate has fallen out of place leaving a gaping hole that would be disastrous for bicyclists and cars who veered slightly at the wrong time. Some one has put cones but one has fallen into the hole and nothing else has been done for weeks to repair the situation. Not sure if it’s DOT or Town of Pittsboro.
This is an invitation to a serious accident.
