I have had a very bad experience with Mr. Appliance, in Chapel Hill-Durham office.
I have used them before and was very pleased with their service. However, if you need to call them back they give you a national call center number that asks for your zip code and will not give you the number of that office to call direct. I have had two rounds with them lasting about 10 minutes each, to try to talk to Durham office. A service time was set earlier last week, and tenant called back and changed time and they did not get message inm the local office.. from the call center. technician turned up 2 hrs early because he did not get the notice. They are supposed to come back later and do the repairs. I told them they had better not charge me after hours prices, or i would come after them (small claims court)…The answering service would not give me the number to their office, they gave me the number the office gave me to reach call center.. And i thought I had run into some bad phone-customer service, and nothing beats this. The local office would not even give me a direct number to their office.. gave me the call center number. what a screwed up system.
