For Pittsboro residents who haven’t voted yet, consider the long delays in getting the town’s Unified Development Ordinance ready for a BOC vote due to Mr. Fiocco holding up drafts for over a year.
During that delay, the Eagles Gas Station was built alongside our historic Masonic Hall, the concrete plant next to Potterstone Village, and the charnel house alongside the B&B and adjacent a residential neighborhood. Someone said that’s a lot of property owners who lost value due to his delays.
He provides project management and serves as consultant for large developments while sitting on the town’s Board of Commissioners. We need town board members who care about protecting our environment and our town instead of the developers’ interests and profits.
