The August meeting of the Chatham CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) will be August 26 beginning at 6:00 PM. This will be an online-only meeting.
Our subject this month will focus on an important topic: Home Security.
Presentations will include ideas on how to set up your home for security against burglars and break-ins, and information from a Chatham County Sheriff’s Deputy on what to do if you have a break-in or home invasion, how to react to responding police, local crime statistics and more. Please come with your questions.
We encourage everyone to participate in this month’s important topic. Pre-registration is not required, but please put this on your calendar now so you don’t forget!
CERT is an all-volunteer organization of local residents who support their communities in times of disaster. If you would like to attend this meeting and have not already received your monthly invitation, send an email to and we will add you to our mailing list.
All are welcome, there is no obligation to join CERT, the information is important, and the meeting is free. Please attend!
