*Masks For Many Project Invests in Talented Local Artists and in the Health of Our Community*
Chatham Arts Council is announcing Masks for Many <https://www.chathamartscouncil.org/masks-for-many/>, a collective effort to partner with under-employed local artists to create cloth masks for donation to vital, vulnerable workers—especially people of color—in Chatham County. Masks for Many pays for the materials and a small stipend for these artists, and vital workers throughout Chatham County are protected so that we slow the spread of this deadly virus.
The cloth masks will be made from two layers of 100% cotton, one size fits most (*children’s sizes are available upon request*), and machine washable.
We need your help! (And don’t worry, you can help from the comfort of your own home.) We are looking for:
– *Donations* to help cover materials costs and pay a small stipend to under-employed artists creating the cloth masks. Our goal is $10,000. https://www.chathamartscouncil.org/donations/masks-for-many/
