Regarding N. A. Booko’s rainwater collection. “Mosquito Dunks” are available online and from Home Depot. They are very effective at killing mosquito larvae. They are also fairly pricey. You can pour a little vegetable, olive or mineral oil on top of water. It tends to suffocate larva. Maybe not as effective but pretty inexpensive and most likely in the pantry as we speak
