I contacted the Senior Center here in Pittsboro this week offering to help with volunteer needs for seniors in this difficult time, and was told that they need donations but that all of their volunteer needs had been filled. I thought to myself again what an awesome community I live in.
I recently had knee replacement surgery and 28 people stepped up and took care of my every need for a couple of weeks.
How did we get so lucky as to live here in Chatham County……such a wonderful community of people! So many around the world are in a scenario right now that is so much worse than we are in. I am grateful.
