Subject: New Classes at CCCC Starting Soon – Dog Obedience Classes
Dog Obedience – Beginner
Have fun in this intensive beginner obedience/home management class for dogs over 5 months old. Students will learn to get their dogs’ attention as well as train their dogs with positive reinforcement to walk on a loose leash, come when called, sit, down and leave it. First class is mandatory orientation, no dogs, owners only.

Meets: Fridays 1/24 – 3/6, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Dog Obedience – Canine Good Citizen Class
This course will prepare students to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test (CGC), which is given at the last meeting. The purpose of this CGC program is to ensure that the family dog can be a respected member of the human community. Students with train their dogs to act respectfully at home and in public. Dogs should have some training background. There is no orientation, dogs come with owners at first class. What to bring: Leather or fabric lead, 4 to 6 ft. No flexi leads. Soft treats dogs will love.
