Last winter I was away for several months and Customer Service said my bill should run about $30 while I was gone. Instead, it average over $100 per month. Progress Energy was of no help–I couldn’t even talk to an Supervisor. I asked an electrician to check if there was something wrong and he said the amp usage was very low. My neighbor has also complained of reasonable bills. Very frustrating.
