Greetings Prospective Children’s House Families,
Have you seen it? Willow Oak Montessori’s new, 15 acre campus is under construction at 1476 Andrew’s Store Rd in Chatham County. Very exciting and we are looking good for an August 2020 occupancy!
As this new campus will bring together our Children’s House and Public Charter School in one location, the Board of Directors decided to fill all Kindergarten spots via the charter school. Kindergartners will be in the Children’s House classrooms that will continue to serve preschoolers-K, but their admission will be handled through the charter school lottery process.
Anyone interested in Kindergarten for the 2020-21 school year should apply via the WOM Public Charter Lottery Application by February 14, 2020, to be included in the lottery. charter.willowoakmontessori.org/admissions-lottery
Anyone interested in preschool for 21/2 to 4 yo’s for the 2020-21 school year, should wait and apply on this page during February 2020. http://childrenshouse.willowoakmontessori.org/admissions
Anyone interested in current openings for 21/2 to 6yo’s for a January 2020 start, should apply here now. http://childrenshouse.willowoakmontessori.org/admissions
Upcoming Children’s House Open Houses are on January 12 and February 9, 2020, 1-3 at 886 Hamlet Chapel Road, Pittsboro. Administrators and teachers look forward to meeting your family and introducing you to our classrooms. Children are welcome at the Open Houses.
If you would like to schedule an adult-only observation while the classrooms are in action, please contact Julie Killian, .
We look forward to meeting you soon and embarking on this new phase for our schools together!
