Pittsboro local Chanah Silver and her writing partner Ari Ben-Gideon take Pittsboro Youth Theater actors on a carnival-style journey. A spin on the classic tale of Snow White, “Spellbound” is guaranteed to pack fun surprises for Disney and Brothers Grimm fans alike.
You may have seen Chanah as Martha Brewster in last month’s “Arsenic and Old Lace.” Now, she’s spending her time coaching Pittsboro Youth Theater’s 7-12 year olds as they bring her vision of Snow White to life.
So what can you expect in this version of Snow White? From carnivals to vikings, a more human Queen to a Princess with marriage conditions, “Spellbound” is bound to leave you thinking beyond fairy tales.
