Subject: Conflict of interest articles
People should be aware that the articles recently posted by Chatham Thinker/Virginia Penley were written by a reporter who was on Randy Voller’s staff when he was chair of the NC Democratic Party. She helped him campaign for the job, and he hired her as state director after he won.
I’m not impugning anything against this reporter, just stating this info in the interests of full disclosure.
