I appreciate Mr. Dancer’s suggestion that we walk more than talk. Actually, that’s the formula for failure for me. Oh, I’ll start, as I have numerous times over 78 years. To continue it’s necessary to collaborate with other people. Heart failure rehab that builds stamina starts small, slowly then keeps going over a long period of time.
I benefited hugely from 33 sessions of COPD rehab at Chatham Hospital in Siler City. Trouble is I was having problems toward the end of the rehab period. Somehow, magically, at the end of the sessions I was supposed to march off into the world and never sin again. People with heart failure tend toward depression so motivation disappears quickly. Combine that with a really cold January and February. Still, with some support one can weather the ups and downs. I’m trying to build that.
I thank Mr. Dancer again, because a conversation on failed strategies is as important as actually creating a situation where we can move ahead.
