More delays possible on US 64 over Jordan Lake

Just as drivers were recovering from those big repaving project delays last year on U.S. Highway 64 over Jordan Lake, it’s time to get ready for more work on the bridges.

NCDOT just awarded a contract to repair the 48-year-old bridge decks and structural elements, beginning as early as the end of this month. It should be completed by September 2020.

Expect lane closures during the project, but the lanes will have to be open on holidays and holiday weekends.
