Subject: Bynum-Pittsboro Ruritan Meeting
The Bynum Ruritan Club will have a Membership Drive Meet & Greet on Saturday January 27 at the Ruritan Clubhouse from 12-4PM. Ruritan leaders and members will be in attendance to explain who we are and the plan to serve the community. Refreshments will be served. “Ruritan” means Rural Town and represents old-fashioned values that too often are missing as the landscape and population has changed from “Old North Carolina” to a modern metropolis mentality. People from Bynum-Pittsboro are encouraged to learn how to engage in civic activity, sports, fundraising activities, etc.
The Ruritan Club sponsors scholarships for local students and performs community service for this part of Chatham County in the name of FELLOWSHIP & GOODWILL. Ruritans are proud Americans!
The clubhouse is on Bynum Road next to the Haw River. Use Eubanks Road (first right after the Haw going north) or Bynum Road to get down to the river; clubhouse is on the right.
See you on Saturday.
