Subject: Quitsmart Class Rescheduled for Tonight (Jan 24)!
Due to the winter weather last week, the first QuitSmart class has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, January 24th at 5:30 pm. Please contact Anna Stormzand ( or 919-545-8445) for any further information. We hope to see you Wednesday for our first class and apologize for the inconvenience.
Tobacco cessation classes will begin this month for all Chatham County residents, employees, and their families. Don’t miss this opportunity to receive free personal instruction from experienced staff from the Chatham County Public Health Department. QuitSmart is a proven effective program to help quit all types of tobacco, including dip/chew and electronic cigarettes. Participants will receive free QuitSmart materials and all sessions are provided free of charge. In addition, a two week supply of nicotine replacement patches will be given to participants for free. These sessions will be held after work from 5:30 pm-6:45 pm on Wednesday, January 24th, Monday, February 5th, and Wednesday, February 7th (rescheduled from original dates due to the weather). All sessions, including the information session, will be held at the Chatham County Public Health Department in Pittsboro (Public Health Department Board Room, 80 East Street, Pittsboro, NC). Attendance is required for all three sessions.
