Dog Obedience – Beginner
Have fun in this intensive beginner obedience, home management class for dogs over 5 1/2 months old. Students will learn to train their dogs, using positive reinforcement, to walk on a loose leash, come when called, and sit, down and stand,Classdd when asked. A “must” for all new dog owners and especially shelter and rescue dogs. No dog is too old to learn.
First class is mandatory orientation for owners only, no dogs.

Canine Good Citizen Classes
This class will prepare students and their dogs to take the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test (offered at the last class). AKC’s CGC is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs must pass the 10-step CGC test to receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. This is the first step towards becoming therapy dogs.
