Hello all,
We’re happy to announce that a Refuge Recovery group is forming in Chatham County.
Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist-oriented path toward recovery from addiction. It’s a practice based on mindfulness, forgiveness, compassion, and generosity. When practiced with meditation and kindness, these can heal the pain and suffering addictions have caused in our lives, and in the lives of others.
Meetings will be on Sunday afternoons at 5:30, beginning January 14th. We will meet at the North Carolina Zen Center, 390 Ironwood, Pittsboro. No prior meditation experiences is required.
